Premier League Relegation Odds – Early Predictions for 2022/23 Campaign

The Premier League is set to return next month and ahead of that moment, we thought it d be a good idea to run through a few early doors predictions that we ve got for the campaign ahead specifically, down the bottom end of the table.

Thanks to our friends at , there s a full list of relegation odds currently available with the following five clubs being deemed the most likely to slip through the trap door and into the Championship.

Bournemouth 8/15

The Cherries were fairly solid in bouncing back up to the Premier League but there s a part of us that thinks they aren t built to survive as they once were. The gap between the two divisions is getting wider and wider and it can become quite easily to fall into the yo-yo habit, especially if you haven t got the flex of being a first-time top flight side as they did a few years back.

Nottingham Forest 8/11

There are two important things to remember when it comes to Nottingham Forest: they were incredibly fortunate to make their way through the play-off final, and they ve already made a string of great signings. The big problem they re going to have is ensuring they gel as a unit because after more than two decades away from the big time, they need to try and get off to a flying start.

Fulham 5/4

Fulham Football Club just cannot make up its mind regarding where it wants to go up or down. It s easy to assume that they re going to drop back into the second tier as a result of their recent history but we don t actually think that s what s going to happen. Tony Khan knows and understands what it means to perform at the highest level given their experience, and we can see them surprising a few people.

Leeds 12/5

Jesse Marsch was able to help this club survive by the skin of their teeth on the final day and that s exactly the kind of confidence boost they needed heading into the summer. They re already making some real waves in the transfer market and while they re going to have to adjust their style ever so slightly, they should be more than good enough to stay up.

Brentford 13/5

The persona of Thomas Frank always threatens to get in the way of what a fantastic squad he s been able to build at Brentford and one thing we know for sure is this: second season syndrome is real, and the Bees need to be really careful. If they start slumping in the lead-up to Christmas then we d feel pretty confident in saying they could be in some trouble.

Prediction: Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest, Brentford
